About Me
Hi! My name is Kaelyn.
Amongst other things, I am a freelance photographer who loves capturing my clients’ authentic selves through pictures.
I began my photography journey in the fall of 2022 with a few friends asking for grad photos, as well as a few unwilling siblings who I forced to do a photoshoot with me. They were small beginnings, but I fell in love with this artistic medium.
Now, I am honored to have worked with a wide array of clients, from events to weddings to family portraits. It’s an incredible thing to celebrate precious moments in my clients’ lives and preserve beautiful memories forever.
Why hire me?
As a photographer, I seek to provide the best experience to all my clients. When you hire me, you’ll hire someone that seeks to honor your personal style and capture your authentic personality. I want to ensure you don’t just receive a product, but a cherished souvenir from the moments we capture together.
FAQ
How will my photos be delivered?
I use a platform called Pixieset to deliver my photos to clients. They are free to download, but they will expire after six months, so clients must download the gallery within that time frame.
What is your preferred payment method?
I accept cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal, but Venmo is my preferred method.
What are your turnaround times?
Turnaround times vary based on the shoot, but I edit in a queue and usually deliver fully edited galleries within the week of the shoot. Weddings and special events, or shoots that last multiple hours and/or require more involved editing may take more time. However, I will always deliver photos within six weeks of the shoot.
What equipment do you use?
I use two Sony cameras, an A7IV as my primary camera and an A7II as my secondary camera. I have two lenses, and 35mm and a 28-75mm zoom lens, as well as some other necessary equipment.
How will my photos be stored long-term?
It’s important to know what your photographer will do with your photos once your gallery is delivered. I keep all my past shoots on a hard-drive, ensuring that, in the event something happens to your copies of the photos, you will still have access to them.
Do you allow re-edits if I don’t like the photos?
I seek to ensure all my clients are satisfied with the end product, therefore, if you have any specific notes for me before I begin the editing process, please let me know. I do allow for limited edits, but generally ask that before booking, all my potential clients are certain their taste aligns with my editing style, which tends to be warm, light, and clear.
